In a bag, there are coins of 25p, 10p and 5p in the ratio 1:2:3. If there is Rs. 30 in all, how many 5p coins are there?
A150
B50
C100
D200
✓ Correct Answer: A — 150
Value ratio: (1*25) : (2*10) : (3*5) = 25:20:15 = 5:4:3. Total value parts = 12. 5p value = (3/12)*30 = Rs 7.5. Number of 5p coins = 750p / 5p = 150.
